Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Auburn, New York. This Radiology RN will work in a diagnostic radiology setting with a diverse caregiving team to provide patient care and execute physician instructions.

The position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS and NIH certifications, and a 13-week assignment at 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts. Immediate travel nursing opportunity in Auburn, NY.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs and access infusaports; administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Suction patients, insert Foley catheters, and assist patients with basic needs.
• Inform technologists or radiologists of any unusual patient conditions.
• Perform nursing duties such as IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients using cardiac/pulse oximeters.
