Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role requires active RN license, IR experience, BLS, and a 18-month recent background in Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
