Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to work in Cedar Rapids, IA for a 13-week assignment. The role involves performing complex interventional radiology procedures, collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff, and delivering safe patient care.

Travel and licensing support are provided. The position requires an Interventional Radiographer with strong decision-making, patient safety focus, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet health requirements.
• Capable of reading and interpreting safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Develop and maintain radiology skills across modalities and clinical systems.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Maintain supplies needed for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
