Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and interventional procedures, with 4x10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Develop and maintain skills with clinical systems (RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems).
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies required for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams and provide clinical excellence.
