Job Summary

Position: Traveling Interventional Radiographer (Contract: 13‑week travel assignment) – Milwaukee, WI. Focus Staff is seeking a licensed Interventional Radiographer to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures with complex specialized tasks on radiographic equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance to specification and assist in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
  • Ensure exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence.
  • Maintain patient safety, precautions, and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer, minimum 2 years.
  • Independent decision‑making skills and strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Demonstrated punctuality, maintaining regular attendance.
  • Must meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post‑offer health assessment.
  • Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing and responding to pages; reading and writing; verbal and written communication; ability to remain calm under stress; ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures.
