Job summary

SHIELD is hiring a Travel Installer to design, build, and install premium locker rooms and healthcare casework across the United States. You will travel nationwide about 21+ days each month, installing cabinetry and custom casework with a skilled crew, using hand and power tools, and contributing to high‑end projects.

When not on the road, you’ll work in the Kansas City shop to learn fabrication skills and improve craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work and willingness to learn skilled trades.
• Frequent travel and flexible schedule.
• Basic experience with tools, carpentry, fabrication or construction.
• Ability to lift up to 70–75 lbs and pass site/background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide ~21+ days per month, with travel costs covered.
• Install custom lockers, cabinetry, and specialty casework in athletic and healthcare facilities.
• Use hand tools and power tools daily; perform basic carpentry on-site.
• Collaborate with install crew to meet project deadlines.
• When not traveling, work in Kansas City shop to learn fabrication skills.
