ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Emporia, Virginia. The position supports 40 hours per week, with a travel-focused inpatient setting and a 13-week duration, starting 11/02/2026.

Under supervision of physical therapists, the PTA will perform interventions such as exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and will document patient progress for the supervising therapist. This travel role includes an on-site assignment in Emporia, VA.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) per state requirements.
• Experience in inpatient/acute care settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision of physical therapists, treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patients' progress and report results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
