Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for inpatient care in Richmond, Virginia. You will evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.

The role provides comprehensive inpatient therapy services and supports safe progression toward discharge. This assignment is 13 weeks long with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and requirements including BLS/ACLS and ICU experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to the first shift for applicable assignments.
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience.
• ICU or critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on functional progress and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams regarding equipment needs, patient and family training, home exercise programs, and continuing services.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions according to patient care needs.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, goal writing, discharge documentation, and medical necessity documentation.
• Provide care under valid physician orders and in accordance with applicable regulatory and insurance requirements.

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to the first shift; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to the first shift for applicable assignments; minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience; Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care experience.
