Qualifications

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and balance activities.
Assist patients with bed mobility, transfers and ambulation.
Address strength, endurance and functional mobility limitations.
Evaluate fall risks and recommend appropriate assistive devices.
Treat patients recovering from surgery, injury and acute medical conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, OT and case management.
Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Located in southwestern Kansas, Meade offers a peaceful setting, wide-open landscapes and easy access to nearby communities such as Dodge City and Liberal.

Position Overview

As an inpatient acute care Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat hospitalized patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other medical conditions affecting their mobility and independence.

Working in a rural hospital environment can provide opportunities to collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery.
