Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 13‑week assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The role requires a pharmacy degree, state licensure, and hospital experience where applicable. Work is 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts.

The assignment includes travel benefits, housing assistance or stipend, and comprehensive health and life insurance options through the agency. This is a travel contract with the potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Prefer 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Pharmacist licensure in state applying or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the provision of high quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with laws, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Engage in multiple drug distribution functions (order entry, IV admixture, etc.).
• Support therapeutic outcomes under Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives through physician/nurse/staff communication and documentation.
