Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for an inpatient travel assignment in Topeka, KS. This 13-week role features a day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 40 hours per week, and Epic EHR experience to support a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics.

Applicants must hold a PharmD and Kansas license, with BLS/ACLS and inpatient experience preferred. This travel opportunity offers a collaborative acute care environment in a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Active Kansas pharmacy license at submission.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 2 years inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of high‑alert medications and renal dosing; TDM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications for hospital inpatients across age groups.
• Support safe medication management for high‑alert therapies and anticoagulation.
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and TDM.
• Prepare and verify IV push medications with sterile technique.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Use Epic and pharmacy workflows to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Provide clinical pharmacist support in a busy inpatient setting.
• Contribute to coverage during day shifts and weekend rotations.
