Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking an inpatient Pharmacist for a travel assignment in California, providing medication management in a busy inpatient setting, including NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and oncology.

Responsibilities include sterile compounding, dispensing, and patient safety in a 24/7 operation. California license, BLS/ACLS, and residency/BCPS are preferred; no new graduates. Shifts are 10 hours with various start times.

Qualifications

• Inpatient pharmacist with experience in sterile compounding and oncology infusion centers preferred.
• Responsible for medication dispensing, patient safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals in a 24/7 pharmacy environment.
• Certifications & Education: California Pharmacist license, BLS, ACLS. Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS desired.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience required, with no specific experience minimum listed.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, rotating start times of 5:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., and 10:00 a.m., totaling at least 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Experience in oncology infusion centers is a plus. Must have sterile compounding experience. No new graduates are considered for this role.
• Submission Requirements: Must have a California Pharmacist license and be eligible to submit credentials.
