Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks a Registered Nurse – Infusion in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to join an outpatient infusion center. You will administer IV therapies, manage central lines, monitor patient status, and document care in Cerner EMR.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years infusion experience, BLS, and experience with chemotherapy. The 13-week contract offers guaranteed hours and travel support through Healthforce Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of infusion experience.
• AHA/CPR BLS certification required.
• Experience with chemotherapy and hazardous drugs administration.
• Cerner EMR experience.
• Central line care and implanted port access experience.
• ONS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapies in an outpatient infusion center, including chemotherapy and hazardous drugs.
• Perform central line care and port access and peripheral IV placement as appropriate.
• Monitor patient status during infusions, assess vital signs, manage adverse reactions, and implement emergency protocols as needed.
• Administer blood products and manage related documentation and safety checks.
• Operate infusion technology (Plum IV Pump, CADD Pump) and document care in the Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, provide patient education, and ensure infection control and safety standards.
