Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Franklin, NH seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Infection Prevention for a 14-week travel assignment starting 10/01/2026. The role runs 40 hours per week on a dayshift schedule (08:00–16:30) in a skilled nursing facility, with weekly pay.

You will lead the infection prevention program, update policies, mentor staff, and coordinate outbreak response with care teams and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Infection Preventionist (IP) certification required.
• Prior infection prevention experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility’s infection prevention program, including surveillance, data collection, trend analysis, and reporting of infections.
• Develop, implement, and update infection prevention policies and procedures aligned with current guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Educate and mentor staff on infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, use of PPE, cleaning and disinfection, and isolation precautions.
• Coordinate outbreak response in collaboration with the care team and communicate with leadership and applicable regulatory bodies as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, perform performance audits, and monitor adherence to infection control measures to reduce infection risk.
