Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role features 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, and a 20-week assignment starting on 10/05/2026.

The RN will care for IMCU patients including neuro, cardiovascular, and medical-surgical cases, with orientation every other Monday. Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions.

Qualifications

• Valid VA or Compact license active at start date.
• At least 2 years of work history with explanations for gaps >90 days.
• Experience with acuity-level settings (medical-surgical, telemetry, neuro, CVA).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for IMCU patients including neuro, CV, and medical-surgical cases.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Participate in orientation every other Monday; assist with travel staffing needs.
• Adapt to acuity levels requiring high skill and judgment.
