Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina. The IMC Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for adult patients in a hospital setting, including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring.

This assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• NIHSS proficiency required.
• Experience in IMC/RN settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring or interventions every 1-2 hours.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry during shifts.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive medications as needed to stabilize patients.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as Hercules patient re-positioners and ceiling lifts.
• Float to other units or campuses as required, ensuring competency and qualifications are met.
