Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for ICU in Merced, California. This assignment runs 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and is a travel contract.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult ICU/CCU patients
• Ensure functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes)
• Monitor vitals and signs of distress
• Administer medications and IVs; insert catheters as needed
• Meticulous documentation of medications; assist emergency procedures
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required
