Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado. The ICU RN will provide high-level critical care in a 13-week travel assignment with night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Requirements include one year of ICU RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and a dedicated clinical team support are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding ICU care and recovery expectations.
• Maintain infection control and contribute to quality improvement in critical care.
