TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in Charlottesville, Virginia for a 14-week ICU float assignment. This travel opportunity requires 36 hours per week, with the shift being 12 hours at night. Immediate openings are available for RNs with 1-2 years of acute care experience.

The ICU Travel Nurse will monitor patients, administer medications, coordinate with physicians, and educate families. A variety of benefits and tax-free stipends may apply to this travel role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ICU RN or critical care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
