Qualifications

Active RN license
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS and ACLS certifications
18 months of recent ICU experience in acute care

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and family education and support
Ensure proper operation of life-support equipment
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration
Administer medications and IVs; insert catheters as needed
Meticulous documentation of care and medications
Assist in emergency nursing procedures and CPR
