Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU rotation in Albemarle, North Carolina. This 13-week assignment requires 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with float to Med/Tele and ICU as needed.

Two years ICU experience is required, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certs. Be prepared to manage sepsis, cardiac rhythms, vents, lines, and various critical care tasks in a dynamic workload.

Qualifications

• 2 years ICU experience required, with stroke/NIHSS assessments.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care lines and drips.
• Experience with chest tubes, NGT, drains, and vent management.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ICU and Med/Tele patients as assigned, 1:2–3acuity dependent.
• Float within Stanly region (Med/Tele, ICU, PCU, ED holds as needed).
• No call; weekends at minimum every other week.
