Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Topeka, Kansas. This role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS certification. You should have at least 18 months of recent ICU experience in Acute Care.

Qualifications

Active RN License is required.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certification required.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and family education and support.
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
Monitor vital signs and assess for distress.
Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
Document medication administration meticulously.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control changes in condition.
Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
