Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse (SICU) for a 13-week assignment in Billings, MT. The RN will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights, providing direct care in a Surgical Intensive Care setting and coordinating with the ICU team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and hold ACLS/BLS certifications, with NIH certification as a plus. Travel experience is preferred for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. ICU/CCU experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification may be needed.
• Travel RN assignment for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU bedside care and monitoring for critically ill patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; monitor patient status and adjust care plans.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and care teams.
