Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Bloomington, Indiana. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a night shift (12-hour shifts).

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience. Benefits include weekly pay, private housing or housing allowance, and credentialing fee coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support.
• Ensure life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes) is functioning properly.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications and IVs and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt clinical changes.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
