Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU travel assignments in Wisconsin. The role involves 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Fri–Sun) with a minimum of 36 hours per week, delivering care to medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements and general surgeries.

The unit also handles COVID-19 cases and requires resilience and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. The assignment runs 13 weeks starting 09/28/2026, with potential float to nearby units and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• WI registered nurse (RN) license
• AHA or ARC certifications
• BLS
• ACLS
• at least 2 years ICU and MedSurg experience
• travel experience preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Friday–Sunday) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Care for medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgery
• Care for COVID-19 patients on a mixed unit
• Float to additional units including Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Riverview as needed
• Be prepared for holiday rotations and adhere to vaccination/mask policies during flu season
