Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in Hagerstown, Maryland. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent ICU experience. Housing options and other benefits are provided through the agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Client facility may have additional requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support
• Ensure proper operation of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes)
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress
• Administer medications and IVs; insert catheters as needed
• Document medication administration meticulously
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid stabilization
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively
