American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Alabama. This 13-week position requires vent i lator/vasoactive drip experience, active AL or compact RN license, and current BLS/ACLS.

Local candidates are excluded by radius rules. Crucial details include a 7p–7a schedule, Cerner EMR familiarity preferred, and travel housing allowances plus benefits like 401(k) and per diem.

Qualifications

• Active AL or compact RN license with no prior NURSYS hits.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required.
• Experience with ventilated patients and vasoactive drips required.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital.
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a) with every other weekend required.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position.
• Local candidates will not be considered due to the radius rule.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
• Requested time off must be less than one week.
