Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Tele ICU travel assignment in Utica, NY. The 13-week shift is night-time, 12-hour blocks (6:30 pm to 7:00 am) on a 2x3 schedule, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Start date is 10/19/2026. You will work in a 42-bed critical care float pool across units, with Epic EMR proficiency required and cross-unit coverage for high-acuity patients.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license with Nursys verification.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• EMR: Epic proficiency or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care for critically ill adults across the float pool.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and hemodynamic data; respond to alarms.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ventilatory support as trained.
• Operate specialized equipment per physician orders and document in Epic EMR.
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to the charge nurse or physician.
