Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Morristown, New Jersey. The role requires ICU experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and a NJ or compact RN license, with night 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour week.

You will work in a hospital ICU within a medical telemetry setting, with patient ages from pediatric to geriatric, and may float to a nearby sister hospital. Travel stipends and benefits apply, with recruitment support 24/7.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or compact RN license required.
• Minimum one year of recent ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU within a medical telemetry unit in a hospital setting.
• Patient population includes pediatric through geriatric critical care patients.
• Scheduled 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with every third weekend required.
• Floating as needed, including possible float to a nearby sister hospital.
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation.
• Demonstrate competent clinical and emergency skills in the ICU environment.
• Observe National Patient Safety Goals and proper patient identification protocols.
