MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. You will work 12-hour nights on a 36-hour weekly schedule, supporting critically ill adult patients in an acute care ICU.

The role requires an active RN license, accredited program degree, and BLS/ACLS certificates, with 18 months ICU experience. A robust benefits package and travel reimbursements accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure life-support equipment operates correctly.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheter insertion as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
