Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ICU in Lexington, Kentucky. The position features 36 hours per week, nights, and a 13-week assignment as a travel RN.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatments, and coordination of admissions and discharges, with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. Travel nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in ICU or critical care preferred.
• Night shift and travel nursing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete and document assessments, identify risks, and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with the care team and Case Management.
• Delegate appropriately and oversee assigned patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, and infection reduction.
