Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse to work in Pendleton, Oregon. The RN will provide direct care in the ICU, monitor patients, document care, and coordinate with physicians.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift and includes a tax-free stipend during travel.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and record data.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters and leads.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.
