Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU night shift position in Mississippi. Must have at least one year of ICU experience and an active MS or compact license. The contract runs 13 weeks and requires a 36-hour work week on a night shift.

The role involves critical care for adults in the ICU, with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and travel/licensure reimbursements. RTO must be limited to under one week.

Qualifications

• Active MS or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience required.
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• Licenses and certifications must remain active; none may expire within the first 30 days of the contract.
• Will not consider candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last two years.
• No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Patient care involves critically ill adults in the ICU
• RTO (requested time off) must be less than one week
• Returns or repeat travelers must meet the two-year separation rule for previous permanent staff at CHS facilities
