Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a travel nurse RN for ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, 48 hours per week, with a start date of 10/26/2026.

Employment type: Travel. Requirements include an active RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult ICU patients and educate families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and respond to distress.
• Administer medications/IVs and insert catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to stabilize patients.
• Perform CPR accurately and promptly.
