Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Manchester, Connecticut. This ICU travel position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, employment type Travel.

The right candidate will have ACLS/BLS certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients, provide direct life-saving care, document physician-directed plans, and educate families.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• 13-week travel assignment in ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care in ICU.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; monitor patient status.
• Interpret lab results and monitor ICU equipment.
• Communicate patient conditions to families.
