Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Kennewick, Washington. The position requires an RN license, ACLS & BLS certifications, and 18 months of ICU experience, with a 13-week duration and a 36-hour week on night shifts.

You will care for adult ICU patients, operate life-support equipment, document care, and collaborate with a clinical team. Travel benefits include weekly pay and housing options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life-support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
