Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel RN specialized in ICU for a contract assignment in Canton, Ohio. The position is for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek on the night shift (12-hour shifts).

The RN will oversee patient care under the nursing care plan, supervise licensed staff, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. BLS/ACLS certifications are required before first shift, with at least two years of bedside experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS is required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data and collaborate with patients/families.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching starting from the day of admission.
• Communicate significant changes in patient status to other care providers for continuity of care.
• Provide supervision and direction for ancillary nursing personnel and delegate appropriately.
• Foster a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Engage in professional growth and development through continuing education.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
