Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a Tacoma, WA assignment. You will float across Nurse Float Pool ICU, with EPIC charting and emphasis on neuro and trauma care.

DYS testing is required prior to start, with 2 years ICU experience and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Responsibilities include caring for Covid/Neuro/Trauma/Medical patients and collaborating with ED holding areas during 13-week assignments.

Qualifications

• 2 years ICU experience required; strong float pool experience considered.
• Must pass DYS test prior to start.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Must have neuro and trauma experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Travel nurse will float through ICU/ED holding areas and related units.
• Care for neuro, trauma, cardiac patients; manage vents, ostomies, drains, and invasive lines as needed.
• Collaborate with ED teams and float pool to cover open shifts.
