Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Bossier City, LA. The role involves delivering comprehensive critical care, monitoring life-support systems, and supporting patients and families in a high-acuity ICU.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure safety and quality of care, document thoroughly, and participate in ongoing education. Requirements include 1 year ICU experience, LA RN license, BLS and ACLS; CCRN and TNCC are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in ICU.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care standards.
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity environments.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families about ICU procedures and expectations.
