Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves providing intensive care, monitoring critically ill patients, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The ICU RN will administer complex treatments, operate life-support equipment, and maintain strict infection control within a high-acuity environment, while ensuring patient safety and family education throughout the episode of care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding ICU care and expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
