Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a seasoned ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Vacaville, CA. The role focuses on providing comprehensive critical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, operating life-support equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience.
• RN license valid in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRN (preferred), TNCC, NIHSS certifications may be required/considered.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing standards.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments.
• Document assessments and interventions and notify providers of changes.
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, PA catheters).
• Document care in the medical record timely to ensure continuity and compliance.
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education.
