Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role requires a compact or MD RN license with ICU experience and a 36-hour week on nights, with a 12-hour shift structure.

You’ll work in a high-acuity adult ICU (16–24 beds) with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, occasional 1:1/1:3, and rotating weekends/holidays depending on staffing and needs.

Qualifications

• Current MD or compact RN license.
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CRRT experience required.
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days of start.
• US SSN and home address required for employment.
• Submission of license copies and two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity adult ICU patients in a 16–24 bed unit.
• Manage ventilator settings and administer medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and infection control.
