Job summary

A healthcare staffing organization is seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse to work at a regional medical center in Virginia. The role requires managing high-acuity patients, ventilator management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years recent ICU experience required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Travel experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to critically ill patients.
• Manage ventilators, airway equipment, and complex drips.
• Perform frequent assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation.
• Respond to rapid response and code situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and manage central lines, A-lines, and chest tubes.
• Follow ICU best practices, sepsis protocols, and unit policies.
