Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment in Oklahoma. Requires OK or compact RN license and ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications. Travel experience is required and housing/per diem are offered.

The role features 3x12-hour daytime shifts, 1:2 to 1:3 nurse/patient ratios, and on-call responsibilities. Local candidates are accepted and regional travel rates apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OK or compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
• CP I, ISTAT, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1.5-2 years ICU experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• CVA/acute stroke management experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting within a community hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM)
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating to Med-Surg required within scope of practice
• Block scheduling accommodated
• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients including post-surgical, cardiac, renal, and respiratory cases
• Candidates must reside more than 45 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Local candidates are accepted
• No restrictions on requested time off
• Pending RN license not accepted for this position
