Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Rockingham, VA. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care, manage life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include one year of ICU RN experience, Virginia RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred qualifications include CCRN and other ICU-specific credentials.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience is required.
• Current RN license per state regulations (Virginia).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care standards.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments and interventions promptly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding ICU care and expectations.
• Maintain infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
