Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing techniques.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses promptly.
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize care.
• Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and training.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to improve ICU outcomes.
• Perform other duties within scope and adhere to hospital safety protocols.
