Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU travel nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. The ICU RN will handle direct patient care, monitor life-sustaining equipment, and collaborate with physicians to ensure treatment plans are followed.

1–2 years of acute care experience is preferred, with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with travel employment status and a start date of 09/14/2026.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ICU RN with ability to monitor and document patient status.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care; develop patient care plans.
• Educate and support patient families; assist with long-term care planning.
• Operate and interpret bedsides equipment and lab orders.
