Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Intensive Care Unit travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, NM. The position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, ASAP start, and travel-friendly benefits.

The ICU RN will evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, provide physician-directed care, and support families. ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required, with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care in ICU and monitor patient status.
• Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; manage and interpret lab results.
