Qualifications

• Must have an active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS & ACLS Certification is essential.
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education/support to the patient’s family.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment.
• Observe the patient’s vital signs for signs of distress.
• Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately.
