Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Start date is 09/28/2026 and employment type is Travel.

Qualifications

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certification.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress signs.
Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt condition changes.
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
